Oat Milk Cold Brew

Dreaming of a sugar-free and creamy cold brewed coffee? Here's a naturally sweet and dairy-free cold brew recipe that you oat to know!

Oat Milk Cold Brew

Ingredients
Makes 2-3 cups
60g whole coffee beans
660g oat milk

Equipment
Grinder
Hario Mizudashi Cold Brew Pot
Glass or cup

Directions
Step 1: Grind coffee using the coarse setting of your grinder. It should feel like coarse sugar.

Step 2: Pour all the ground coffee into the chamber. Add oat milk into the pot via the chamber.

Step 3: Stir the grounds in the chamber gently until they are fully soaked.

Step 4: Leave your coffee to brew in the pot in the fridge for about 12 hours.

Step 5: Filter the coffee grounds from the pot, and enjoy!

Pro Tips

  • For a fuller body, leave your coffee grounds to steep in the fridge overnight for 15-24 hours.

  • This recipe works with full cream milk and soy milk too.

  • Using oat milk with nuttier profile coffees will highlight a coffee's acidity. Give Throwback, Terra Firma, and Thippanahalli a shot!

Help! I used thippanahalli French press ground coffee + oatly milk and it’s taking a long time to pass through the Hario cold brew maker. 50ml / 5mins. Is this supposed to happen?
